Pictured are all of the first place winners for the light music and piobaireachd events (photo credit to Rick Crawford).

A huge thank you to everyone who came and competed, supported, sponsored and volunteered at the 2017 Atlantic Canada Piobaireachd Challenge this past weekend. We were extremely honoured and privileged to have Bill Livingstone as our judge and workshop facilitator. Thank you to our sponsors:
the Atlantic Canada Pipe Band Association, the PEI Police Association, Dr. Angus MacArthur, MacLeod Highland Outfitters, the MacIsaac Kiltmakers, the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada and L&M Highland Outfitters. Thank you to Ryan Simpson for doing a great job stewarding, Tiber Falzett for being the reader for the piobaireachd event and to Rick Crawford, ACPBA Chief Steward, who made sure that the event ran smoothly and for also taking photos. It was a great day of learning at the workshop the following day! Please see below for all of the results.
