The College has been in the news a lot lately!  From the highland dancers' trip to London, Ontario to the Lobster Festival Parade and an upcoming interview with CBC, we've been busy!

Our highland dancers were featured in a Journal Pioneer article this past Monday detailing their trip to the ScotDance Canada Championship Series in London, Ontario which took place earlier in July. The girls worked hard on and off the competion field.  They fundraised hard and practiced even harder.  As our highland dance instructor, Kearsney Smith notes, " it was our second time attending the championship as a group.  Everyone did much better than the first time, and everyone represented extremely well."  To read more from the article, please follow this link:  Well done, girls!

The pouring rain couldn't dampen the spirits of our pipe bands or parade attendees at this past Monday's Lobster Festival Parade.  There was a great crowd turnout despite a crabby Mother Nature. We're half way through the Lobster Festival week but there are still loads of fun activities to be found!  To find out what is happening for the remainder of the week, please follow this link:  To read about the Lobster Festival Parade and a quote from our Director of Education, James MacHattie and a picture of our soggy bands, please follow this link:

Don't forget to check in to our results and photo gallery pages on our website.  They are updated on a regular basis.  Keep up with our students and staff at various provincial and out-of-province and country events! to find those two pages, please follow these links: and
